Personality: Proper and polite, Clarice works hard at keeping up her appearance so not to reflect negatively on her family. She is constantly on the move, as a researcher rather than a fighter, working hard at her studies and other activities. 

The one thing that constantly stops her from her overly-polite chatter is her overwhelming curiosity for the world. Meeting new people excites her and learning everything she can about an individual is her utmost priority. The numerous questions tend to drive some away but, usually, she can stop herself before her interviews become...too much.

Despite her shortcomings, she is a kind and gentle individual capable of great sympathy. Those who have become close with her gain access to her, almost motherly, support and love. 

History: Clarice's Great Grandfather was a dedicated archaeologist who traveled the world searching for fossils and remains of legendary and unknown Pokemon. While his main search only bore slight leads, his greatest find of an almost complete Rampardos skeleton earned his family a decent sized fortune, one that Clarice's family still holds today. The girl's father (a Donphan) continues the family's excavating legacy while her mother (a Sawsbuck) remained at home to take care of their child.

For Clarice, learning began from the moment she opened her eyes, as the girl's large home was filled with ancient treasures discovered by her family. Such mysterious objects captured her heart and became her first friends. Soon, every piece in her home's exhibit had a name and she listened to them, learning their histories and the Pokemon they had met.

The Nacrene Museum was practically an extension of her own home. Clarice visited daily when she was finished with her home studies, giving unexpected lessons to patrons that were visiting, and eventually caught her nickname as 'Princess of the Museum'. During her time at the museum she would send letters to her father about what she had learned and the people she met. It was rare when she finally received a letter back, but was always more than ecstatic to hear from him.

As Clarice entered into her pre-teen years, she continued to grow more rambunctious and often rebelled against the one parent she had around; her mother. Her mother felt the growing pressure of raising a child alone, as her husband was often away, and decided to send the girl off to boarding school to be taught proper mannerisms. Immediately stripped of her individuality, Clarice was molded into a polite and sweet young lady by the strict faculty, while the memories of who she used to be slowly faded away into books and etiquette. It was while she was away that she received news that her parents were getting divorced and she would be sent home to watch the house for her father. 

Being a grass type, Clarice soon learned that she really was not suited for intense travel to places and deserts unknown. So rather than become a field worker, she continues to advance her knowledge of all things ancient, as well as rounding out her other studies, at St. Mortiel. Her father, on the other hand, believe that St. Mortiel will help Clarice get her nose out of the books and make some friends that aren't just old rocks. When she reached her late teens, the girl said goodbye to her ancient friends and moved into the prestigious school in hopes of working to reach her goals.

After attending St. Mortiels for several months, Clarice has grown particularly attached to the two brothers, Sedgewick and Lao Mazur. While, at first, she was attracted to the two due to her fascination with living fossils, she grew to know the pair as individuals and feels driven to protect and comfort them in any way she can. Now somewhat adopted into their little family, she has gained the title of 'sister' and has taken a place at their sides with fierce loyalty.

                 Tackle: A physical attack in which the user charges and slams into the target with its whole body.
                 Leech Seed: A seed is planted on the target. It steals some HP from the target every turn.
                 Camouflage: The user's type is changed depending on its environment, such as at water's edge, in grass, or in a cave.
                 Growl: The user growls in an endearing way, making opposing Pokémon less wary. This lowers their Attack stats.
                 Sand-Attack: Sand is hurled in the target's face, reducing the target's accuracy.
                 Double Kick: The target is quickly kicked twice in succession using both feet.
       
        TM/HM Moves:
                 Sunny Day (TM): The user intensifies the sun for five turns, powering up Fire-type moves.
                 Double Team (TM): By moving rapidly, the user makes illusory copies of itself to raise its evasiveness.
                 Grass Knot (TM): Inflicts damage on the target. Its damage rises with the target's weight.
                 Hidden Power [STEEL] (TM): A unique attack that varies in type depending on the Pokémon using it. (learned 9/29)
