After a few years of living the good life, this little rose's mindset has devolved from never ending anger to "I literally cannot give two shits if I tried". Most clashes are met with a laugh or a shrug.

Alita isn't one to beat around the (rose)bush, as her bluntness comes out regardless if someone is ready or not. Rather than worry or wait, she finds it more efficient to attack the problem head on and dispose of it quickly. While such a method may not be the best at times, it gives her immediate results and that's what she wants to see. Plus, like any young adult, she loves to spend her time meeting and interacting with new people, but her lack of filter combined with a lack of practice with interacting with others tends to drive most away.

It's only after she's threatened or pushed that she brings out her true self. Bitter and relentless, she'll pick and slash at any weakness she can find, verbal or otherwise. Old habits and teachings bring up her desire to see pain and anguish in the other party, to make them really regret crossing her path and to be feared. When she gets this way it's almost like a trance, especially if it's a battle. Alita will go completely overboard with her attacks and forget that she isn't meant to attack to kill.

History:
Alita was the youngest child of 4, all born to a single mother. Life was quiet in their home in Verdanturf, but the girl hated it. It was boring. So, to make things more fun, she'd start picking on her other siblings and other children around the town. The child eventually became so troublesome, her mother sent her off to the neighboring city of Mauville for schooling, hoping that the scheduling and correction of school life would set the young plant straight. The plan quickly backfired, as Alita's attitude and superiority complex grew only worse. She was a terror inside of that public school; picking fights with whoever looked at her weird and skipping classes. Eventually, she would stop going to school at all; using her time in the city to skulk around alleys and watch fights that would break out inside of the local gang that made its home in the streets of Mauville. She began to hang out with members of the gang, fighting with them, causing trouble around the city, until she stopped returning home to Verdanturf and became an official member. Her fighting skills blossomed  in the group, along with her drive to be on top, and she'd fight whoever would accept her challenge. She believed herself to be invincible, using her speed and poisonous moves to outmaneuver opponents while attacking relentlessly. 

It was good for a while with the gang until and incident drove the group to disband and shattered Alita's ideal of invincibility. Heartbroken, the girl and several others moved base to New Mauville to try and rebuild the old gang. The fire she had that fueled her had dimmed and, in the coming months, the girl's fights would become less and less frequent. She became more relaxed and laid back, focusing on her attention on trying to rebuild and regain some hold over the city. The small crew bounced back and forth from their hole in the abandoned city and the growing city of Mauville, earning money in fights. With their small numbers, they weren't earning nearly enough and the little group broke up and went their separate ways.

Broke, alone, and without direction, Alita started giving and charging for unofficial (very bad) tours around the blossoming city to tourists that would pass through. One of her 'customers' were a fairly wealthy, older couple who happened to be passing through the area. While taking them around, she learned more about the two; how they frequently gave to charity along with other good deeds, but they had never been blessed with children. The pair seemed to latch on to the young girl's spunk and invited her to go to dinner with them once the makeshift tour was over. Over the course of the evening, the plant opened up to them about her situation, her homelessness and struggles, and the two immediately decided to take her in to their home. 

After living with the couple for a few months, Alita's new guardians believe that a growing young girl needs a good, religious, education.  While she has no interest in such educational nonsense, now armed with a shiny credit card, she has no plans on letting this 'gift' go to waste.

Now in college, Alita has only grown more unsure of herself. With nothing to tie her down, the idea of facing the whole world alone in a body that she no longer understands has grown into her biggest fear.

        Level Up Moves:
                 Absorb: Inflicts damage on the target, then restores the user's HP based on the damage inflicted.
                 Growth: The user's body grows all at once, raising the Attack and Sp. Atk stats.
                 Poison Sting: Sting the enemy with a poisoned needle. May poison the target.
                 Stun Spore: The user scatters a cloud of numbing powder that paralyzes the target.
                 Mega Drain: A nutrient-draining attack. The user's HP is restored by half the damage taken by the target.
                 Leech Seed: A seed is planted on the target. It steals some HP from the target every turn.
                 Magical Leaf: The user scatters curious leaves that chase the target. This attack never misses.
                 Grass Whistle: The user plays a pleasant melody that lulls the target into a deep sleep.
                 Giga Drain: A nutrient-draining attack. The user's HP is restored by half the damage taken by the target.
                 Toxic Spikes: The user lays a trap of poison spikes at the opposing team's feet. They poison opposing Pokemon that switch into battle.
                 Sweet Scent: A sweet scent that harshly lowers opposing Pokémon's evasiveness. 
                 Ingrain: The user lays roots that restore its HP on every turn. Because it is rooted, it can't switch out.
                 Petal Blizzard: The user stirs up a violent petal blizzard and attacks everything around it.
                 Toxic: A move that leaves the target badly poisoned. Its poison damage worsens every turn.
                 Aromatherapy: Heals all status problems of the user and team members in the room.
        
        TM/HM Moves:
                 Venoshock: The user drenches the target in a special poisonous liquid. This move's power is doubled if the target is poisoned.
                 Double Team: By moving rapidly, the user makes illusory copies of itself to raise its evasiveness.
                 Solar Beam: A two-turn attack. The user gathers light, then blasts a bundled beam on the next turn.
                 Protect: Enables the user to evade all attacks. Its chance of failing rises if it is used in succession. (learned 9/29)

        Egg Moves:
                 Leaf Storm: The user whips up a storm of leaves around the target. The attack's recoil harshly lowers the user's Sp. Atk stat.

                 The black thorns can extend and retract as she needs them. Shorter usually for mundane activities and longer for battles. They're very sharp so do not touch.
                 While her attacks are more suited to distance battling, she loves getting up close and personal with her opponents. She tends to lose herself in the heat of battle.
                 Hidden tattoo that covers much of her torso that expresses loyalty to her former gang. The group disbanded years ago and she's still very touchy about the subject.
                 Being a grass type; her mood swings depending on the season. The colder it is; the more tired and irritable she becomes. You're lucky if you get her to respond to you in the winter.
                 Her roses also wilt and shed in the colder seasons. It's pretty embarrassing so she keeps that area until her new flowers grow in.
                 Pansexual. Because there are too many beautiful people to be picky.
                 While she has life experience, she's got no book smarts.
